DHCP Database:
IP addresses in database assigned to each receiver
Detected IPs:
IP address retrieved from receivers.
Please note that the very first time that the receiver is connected to a “Clean” HDE-8C DIN unit's database each receiver
will get a new IP address. However, after the first time the HDE-8C DIN unit will remember the MAC address for each
receiver and after any power up, the HDE-8C DIN unit will provide the same IP address to the Receiver.
This table is used for network diagnostic of the receivers. The row of a unit previously detected but currently not able to
communicate is shown in red.
Line #:
Not to be confused with Input #. This is the sequence the encoder obtained the receiver information.
Receiver:
Indicates the Receiver Number
IP:
Assigned IP address.
Press “
Power On
” to power on receiver.
Ping:
press to ping unit. The response is shown in the adjacent column.
Press “
Power Off
” to power off receiver.

The
Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)
screen is a read-only status of the server. DHCP is the communication
protocol which centrally manages the assignment of receiver IP addresses.

6.4.4 “Main > Settop Control > Refresh” Tab
The “Refresh” tab can be clicked while you are on any of the following Settop Control sub-tabs screens: “Diagnostics”,
“DHCP”, and “Channel Config”. When clicked, it will update all relevant fields/parameters of the active screen as that
information is retrieved from the unit in a real-time basis.
Remember to click on the SAVE button to apply the new values/configurations.
