1.
In the BlackBerry Internet Edition Settings page, click Filters
to open the Filters page.
2.
In the Filters page, click New to open the New Email Filter
page.
3.
In the Filter Name field, type a name that describes this new
filter.
4.
Select whether you’d like this filter Enabled or Disabled. You
can disable a filter at any time (instead of deleting the filter and
having to re-create it).
Use any of the following fields to set the filter criteria. When an
incoming message matches all of the criteria for a particular filter,
the action that you specify will be performed on that message. You
can set criteria in any or all of the fields.
5.
In the From field, type the full email address of the person or
email group whose messages you want the filter to detect. For
example, type [email protected]. If you are typing more than one
email address, make sure that you separate each address with a
semi-colon.
6.
In the Sent To field, type the full email address(es) of any
recipients other than yourself that you would like the filter to
detect (addresses for distribution lists that do not have an
SMTP address cannot be used). If you are typing more than one
email address, make sure that you separate each address with a
semi-colon.
7.
In the Subject field, type any word(s) for the filter to detect in
the Subject line of incoming messages. The filter will only
search for the entire string, not individual words.
