longer have the correct date and time. To reset the date and time,
follow the instructions in “Customizing your handheld’s options”
on page 147, or to update it automatically, simply synchronize the
handheld with the Desktop Software’s Intellisync tool.
Home screen
How can I return to the Home screen?
The screen that displays the functions list and the date and time is
called the Home screen.
•
Press the
ESC
key repeatedly until you return to the Home
screen. See page 23 for more information on other
shortcuts.

Select Close from an application’s menu or, in the Device
Options
screen, scroll to the [Return to Home Screen]
option and click.
LCD screen
What can I do if my LCD screen seems faint?
•
Check the Screen/Keyboard option in the Device Options
screen. In Options>Screen/Keyboard, scroll to the Screen
Contast field. Press and hold the
ALT
key while rolling the
trackwheel to select a higher contrast. Once you have set the
field to your preference, click the trackwheel to view the menu.
Scroll to Save Options and click.

While the handheld is on, press the silver key once to activate
backlighting. See page 29 for more information.
The backlighting on my display screen keeps disappearing.

The LCD backlighting will turn off after 20 seconds if you have
not pressed a key or the trackwheel.
