Change accessibility settings
You can turn accessibility settings on or off, such as Google™ TalkBack, captions, touch & hold delay, and color inversion.
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen.
2. Tap

3. Set the accessibility options switches.
Turn on Hearing Aid mode
Hearing Aid mode is designed to improve the compatibility of your device with a hearing aid equipped with a telecoil. This
feature might not be supported depending on your BlackBerry device model.
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen.

3. Turn on
Select to Speak

Turn on TTY support
TTY support is designed to allow your device to connect with an external TTY device that converts received calls to text.
The TTY device that you want to connect to your BlackBerry device must operate at 45.45 bps. If your TTY device is
designed for use with a 2.5-mm headset jack, you must use an adapter accessory to connect your TTY device to your
device. The adapter end that plugs into the TTY device must be a male three pole mono 2.5-mm headset jack, and the end
that plugs into your BlackBerry device must be a male four pole stereo 3.5-mm headset jack.
1. Connect a TTY device to your device according to the instructions that came with your TTY device.
2. In the Phone app, in the upper-right corner of the screen, tap .

4. Select one of the following TTY modes:

To turn off all TTY settings, tap
TTY Off

To turn on all TTY settings, tap
TTY Full
.
•
To turn on TTY Hearing Carry Over mode, tap

To turn on TTY Voice Carry Over mode, tap
TTY VCO
.
Settings
