coating. Some filing such as cheese may melt and 

cause the sandwich to stick to the cooking plates. To 

free the sandwich, use a plastic spatula or wooden 

spoon. Never use a sharp or metal object, as this will 

damage the non-stick surface.

Note: Contents of a toasted sandwich may be very hot

Use as a grill

•  Preheat the unit. When the pilot light (temperature 

light / green light) goes on, open the lid carefully by 

“cool-touch handle”,

•  Position the drip tray (11) to catch oil & fats.
•  Place the foods to be cooked on the bottom of cooking 

plate carefully,

•  Close the upper cover and allow food to cook for 

desired time. The power light will go on indication that 

the foods are heating.

•  You can grill with the upper cover opened, without 

causing it to touch the upper surface.

•  Turn and remove the foods on the cooking plate using 

a spatula.

•  If desired, turn the foods during cooking to make upper 

and bottom of the foods marked with grilling traces.

•  After the desired amount of time, the food should be 

done.

•  Remove the food using plastic or wooden utensils to 

avoid damaging the non-stick coating. Never use metal 

tongs, forks or knife as these  can damage the 

cooking plate 

One-sided grill  

•  Connect the mains plug to the power outlet and 

preheat until the ready light (green light) illuminates 

before use. 

•  Position the drip tray (11) to catch oil & fats.
•  Place the foods to be cooked in the lower cooking 

surface. 

•  Pull the upper cover in the upright position,and open 

by 90°. 

•  Grilling may be done with your appliance’s upper cover 

opened and not touching the upper cover. 

•  Turn and collect the foods in the plate using a spatula. 

Party grill (Barbecue)

•  In order to increase the cooking area in picnics and 

parties open the upper cover towards back by 180°, so 

you can provide a wide surface for cooking.

•  You can open the top cover 180° with using the hinge 

release lever (5).

•  Set the adjustable temperature control to the 

appropriate position and preheat the unit.

•  Position the drip tray (11) to catch oil & fats.
•  You can place the foods in both surfaces, use both of 

them at the same time, and make your grills easily.

•  Turn and collect the foods in the plate using a spatula
Note:
The warm up (red light) and ready (green light) lights 

are thermostatically controlled and will cycle on and off 

during cooking to ensure that the correct temperature 

is maintained.

Warning:

1-  Do not touch the outsides of the top sandwich maker/

grill, when in use. Ensure you use the handle to 

open the top grill plate. Avoid touching hot surfaces. 

This sandwich maker/grill may generate steam from 

between the grill plates while food is cooking and when 

the top plate is opened. Take care when removing food 

from the grill.

2-  Remove the food using plastic or wooden utensils to 

avoid damaging the nonstick coating. Never use metal 

tongs, forks or knife as these can damage the coating.

Cleaning

•  Clean cooking plates after each use
•  Ensure the unit is unplugged.
•  Allow the unit to cool but before it gets cold use the 

cleaning tool provided to remove any food that may 

have stuck to the cooking plates. Slide the tool along 

the slots and push the oil & fats into the drip tray.

•  Wipe all surfaces with a clean damp cloth.
