•  Connect the appliance to a suitable electrical supply.
•  Rotate the temperature control (13) to the required

temperature setting.

•  The red power indicator light (1) will light up. This

indicates the cooking plates are heating up.

•  Wait for the green indicator light (2) to light up.

This indicates the cooking plates are at the correct

temperature and the unit is ready to use.

•  When using for the first time the unit may produce

smoke from the cooking plates – this is just the

protective film on the plates burning and is not harmful.

Suggestions of use

•  You can use your Grill for various purposes such

as warming and cooking foods, grilling, making

sandwiches, and toasting.

•  Do not use this appliance to defrost frozen food
•  Owing to its adjustable temperature setting button

and pilot light, this unit operates safely, prevents

overheating, and keeps the cooking surface at

constant temperature selected, ensuring the proper

cooking on time.

•  You can remove the non-stick cooking plates and clean

them easily.

•  Both the upper and lower cooking plates are

interchangeable.

•  Remove the non-stick cooking plates of your appliance

by pressing the plate release buttons (8 & 9).

•  Before using for the first time rinse the cooking plates

with tepid water and a little dishwashing detergent.

Then, attach the cooking plates to their place. A click

sound will indicate that the edges have been fitted well

onto the cooking surface.

•  Do not use metal implements on the non-stick surfaces
•  We recommend you oil the surfaces slightly, before

using for the first time.

•  Connect the mains plug to the power outlet and set the

variable temperature button to the maximum level. You

may notice a slight smoke or odor. This is normal and

will not recur after a while.

Note:
Ensure that the cord is kept away from the cooking

plates when in use.
Warm up (red light) and ready (green light)
•  Warm up light indicates when the grill/sandwich

maker is switched on and heating and the ready light

indicates that it is ready to use.

Setting temperature

•  Turning the temperature setting so that they will stand

against the temperature indication, according to the

process to be made, would be sufficient for you to set

the temperature range.

Hinge release lever

•  The Hinge release lever (5) is located on the side of

the cast metal arms and is used to open the upper top

cover 180° for Party Grill (Barbecue).

Using your grill and sandwich maker:

•  Connect the mains plug to the power outlet.
•  Preheat the appliance until the pilot light (temperature

light/green light) goes on.

•  You can use your device with the upper cover opened

or closed.

•  When you have finished cooking unplug the appliance

from the power outlet and allow the unit to cool down

before cleaning.

•  Note: Ensure that the cord is kept well away from the

cooking plates when in use.

Cooking functions
Use as a sandwich maker

•  Connect the mains plug to the power outlet and

preheat until the ready light (green light) illuminates

before use.

•  Always butter the outside of the bread. The sandwich

filling will be placed between the unbuttered sides of

the bread.

•  Place the buttered side of the bread onto the cooking

plate, then spoon the recommended quantity of filling

onto the bread. Place the top slice of bread on top

of the filling with the buttered side facing upwards.

Gently close the top plate. The hinge system will adjust

automatically ensuring that the top cooking plate lies

evenly on your sandwiches, for perfect toasting every

time.

•  The length of cooking time depends on the case, filling

and personal taste. Your sandwich maker cooks on

both sides at a time.

•  It is not necessary to butter the outsides of all

breads as the sandwich maker/grill has non-stick

cooking plates.

•  The cooking plates are coated with durable non-stick
