INTELLIGENT PRINTER SWITCH

PLUS

4.9 The FUNCTIONS Menu

FORM FEED —

Selecting FORM FEED will send a form-feed character to the

currently selected printer. The dialog box will briefly respond with FORM
FEED SENT to confirm that the character has been sent.

CLEAR DATA —

Select CLEAR DATA to delete all the data that has been

sent from your PC. This command will not affect any data sent from any other
computer.

PRIORITY —

Selecting PRIORITY ensures that the next print file you send

to Intelligent Printer Switch

plus

will be given urgent priority. This print file will

be sent at the earliest possible opportunity and before queued print jobs from
other users. The priority status is automatically canceled once the priority
print job has been sent from your PC.

END OF FILE —

When an infinite (OFF) timeout has been set, an end-of-file

instruction needs to be sent to the IPSP to allow other users to access the
currently selected printer. The END OF FILE function can be used to do
this. END OF FILE can also be used to end long timeouts.
