4.7 Main Menu
A) SELECT PRINTER —
Used to connect your computer to the required
printer or plotter.
B) FUNCTIONS —
Lets you clear data, set priority, form feed the printer,
or end a long timeout (see
Section 4.9
).
C) OPTIONS —
Used to select the number of copies, timeout period,
and the PC port that the menu will control (see
Section 4.10
).
D) DIRECT OUTPUT —
Used to output characters and control codes
directly from your keyboard (see
Section 4.11
).
E) DESTINATION PRINTER —
Indicates the printer to which your print
jobs are currently routed.
F) PC PORT —
Indicates the port on your PC that the ADMENU software will
use to send control commands to your Intelligent Printer Switch
plus
. Make
sure that the port that is physically connected to the IPSP is displayed in this
box (see
Section 4.10
).
E) + F) DIALOG BOX —
Displays messages.
