CHAPTER 4: ADMENU Printer-Control Software

(/H1 default)
This option lets you change the hotkey combination that invokes the
resident ADMENU software. There are five possible options. Select the
desired option by specifying the corresponding number after the letter H.
The available hotkey combinations are:
/H1
selects
<CTRL> <ALT> <SHIFT>
/H2
selects
<CTRL> <SHIFT>
/H3
selects
<ALT> <SHIFT>
/H4
selects
<CTRL> <ALT>
/H5
selects
<LEFT SHIFT> <RIGHT SHIFT>
<SHIFT>
can be either the left or the right shift key. The selected
combination is confirmed in the installation message.
/N and /R
(/R default)
These options allow the ADMENU software to be run as a resident or non-
resident utility. To install the menu as a resident program, use the /R
option. To run the software as a non-resident utility, use the /N option.
/M
(Standard color default)
/M ensures that the menu appears in monochrome mode. This option is
provided for compatibility with certain types of monochrome screens found
on some laptops and other computers. If the ADMENU menu bars on your
screen are faint or non-existent, install the software using the /M option.
4.6 Using ADMENU
Invoking the ADMENU software causes a menu to appear on the screen.
Options can be selected as follows:
• Use the
<up>
and
<down>
cursor keys to highlight the options in the
menus.
• Use
<enter>
to select a highlighted option.
• Use
<escape>
to quit from any menu or the application.
