Port 2 Direction
Port 2 can be used as an input from a computer or an output to a printer. In
automatic mode (the default setting), the port intelligently detects the type of
device that it is connected to and configures itself automatically. You can also
manually switch the port from input to output using the option switches.
When using data boosters or powered cables, you should set the direction
of the port manually, because automatic detection might not work. If you
experience any problems with Port 2, set the direction manually.
