Media Widgets
Note when using this widget, the iCompel Data Engine should be configured to retrieve results for a single resource
only.
10.4 Widget Settings
A simple text format file is used to specify configuration and customization options for each of the media widgets.
The configuration file is named
widget_config.txt
, and is placed in the
xxx_files
folder, where
xxx
is the name of
the HTML file included in the Playlist.
Note: Please exercise care when editing the configuration settings file as it is possible to stop the media from
displaying correctly. If this is done, the original configuration file can be found in the
Black Box iDE
Media\media\source
folder.
Many other options are also available - please contact Black Box Network Services if you have additional
requirements.
Configuration Settings
Each non-blank text line is interpreted as a containing a configuration setting or a comment line.
A configuration setting has a name and a value pair separated by an equals symbol (=). The text to the left of the
first equals symbol is the configuration setting name, and everything that follows, including additional equals
symbols, is the configuration value.
Valid values for boolean configuration settings are '
true
' or '
false
' only. Case is not important.
