Note:
Before contacting the BK Ultrasound support group for help with noise problems, try the
suggestions listed above.
If the noise issue cannot be resolved, use the image storage facility of the scanner to save a
few images that demonstrate the problem(s). Include these images in an e-mail to the support
group.
License-Based Function Does Not work
Windows time is used to validate the licenses for BK Ultrasound functionality in Console
mode. If the scanner is missing license based functionalities such as presets, support of
transducers etc.
Check the Windows time is correct. If the Windows time is wrong it could be due to a
discharged BIOS battery. If the clock has been reset, the licenses may become
nonfunctional even if they are listed as valid in the
License
window.
If a new license was entered and the clock changed shortly afterwards, it may also become
non-functional.
Ensure the
Scanner Identification
number corresponds to the serial number of the system.
Touch Screen Display
The touch screen is divided into four sections during clinical usage:
1. Exam Management (1).
2. Parameter Buttons (2).
3. Input region (3).
4. Basic monitor buttons (4).
