6. Is the connection not a success make sure the information from the DICOM Network
Description questionnaire has been added correctly.
7. Select OK twice.
PACS Setup
Note: Scanner AE Title must be present before testing can be done.
Setting up PACS includes choosing parameters for
Archiving Method , Auto Send
Timeout , and Storage Commitment . Table 4-12, Table 4-13, and Table 4-14 contain the
possibilities and definitions.
Method Definition
Manual Images are sent manually to PACS.
Auto Tap the touch screen End Exam button. The current examination
will end and all images and clips (except 3D) will be sent. Starting
a new exam will also auto-archive images and clips for the
previous patient. This is the default
Archiving Method .

User Storage Commitment Server You can specify a Storage Commitment Server using
the following fields: Name , AE Title , IP Address and
