Conformity to
standards
The CareMat
®
with terminal board is just subject to the
General Product Safety Directive 2001/95/EC and does
not therefore require CE labelling.
The CareMat
®
with circuit board comes under the
EMC Directive 2004/108/EC and therefore has
CE conformity labelling.
Variable resistance R
The universal circuit-board has two connector sockets for commercially-availa-
ble wired resistors. A call resistor that is specifically for the call system for line
monitoring can be installed in this. The connecting wiring should have a diame-
ter of between 0.38 and 0.56 mm. The socket spacing should be 14 mm.
The CareMat A01P (P= circuit-board) inclu-
des a universal circuit-board in the housing.
The universal circuit-board can be adapted
to your needs by altering the switch positi-
ons. The wiring on the universal circuit-
board must not be removed.
The connections are protected against
wrong polarity of input voltage.
Switch
position
The CareMat
®
is maintenance-free. If the cable should however be pulled
out, It should then simply be replaced: open housing, replace and connect up
cable. The cable ties around the connecting cable must be stripped using a
cable tie tool to avoid any slipping. Close the cover and lightly l tighten the
screws.
If despite this the function is not being provided, the following checks
should be made:
• Is the call system operating and is the CareMat
®
correctly connected?
• Is the plug, the plug connection or the cable damaged?
If the points mentioned above have been checked out, but the functions of
the CareMat
®
are, despite this, still not being provided, you should consult a
qualified expert.

OUT2
The CareMat A01C (C=cable) includes a terminal
circuit-board in the housing.
The correct plug for connecting to the alarm system and its terminal
assignment are to be obtained from the relative system manufacturer.
Disposal

The CareMat
®
can be disposed of in the household refuse.
