The supply voltage should be switched off
at least 10 minutes before accessing
the pump terminal box.
When using an appliance leakage current interrupter (ALCI)
the following should be observed.
– Design according to DIN VDE 0664 (pulse current-sensitive)
– The ALCI must take account of the charging current impulse
when the power is switched on
– The ALCI must be suitable for the leakage current of the pump
(< 3.5 mA)
For momentary voltage surges and uneven phase loads during
the connection process, we recommend a short-delay ALCI.
5.1 Supply terminal
The electronics may be damaged in the event
of incorrect connection or use of the wrong voltage.
When checking the insulation of the installation
The Biral pump must be electrically separated.
The pump may be checked as described
in Chapter 9.
The FI switches have to be marked
with the symbol shown.
