Installation sequence
This section gives you step-by-step instructions on how to install your PABX. It is important that you
adhere to the installation sequence given here.
·
Se lect an in stal la ti on lo ca ti on that is a ma xi mum of 1. 5 me ters away from a 230 V AC out let and the net -
work ter mi na ti on (ISDN con nec ti on) of the service provider.
·
To pre vent mu tu al in ter fer en ce, do not in stall your PABX sys tem in the im me di ate vi ci ni ty of elec tro nic de -
vi ces such as ste reo equip ment, elec tro nic office equip ment or mi cro wa ve units.
Avoid in stal ling your PABX near sour ces of ex ces si ve heat, e.g. ra di ators or in rooms with ex ces si ve hu mi -
di ty.
The am bient temperature must be between 5 and 40°C.

Ha ving iden ti fied the ap pro pria te lo ca ti on, pla ce the dril ling tem pla te on the se lec ted moun ting lo ca ti on
and en su re that it is per fect ly per pen di cu lar. Take care to keep the spa ces as spe ci fied on the drilling
template.

Mark the dril ling points on the wall using the dril ling tem pla te.
·
En su re that all the con tact sur fa ces have firm con tact with the wall. en su re that the re are no po wer li nes, ca -
bles, etc. lo ca ted at or un der the mar ked dril ling holes.
·
Drill the three moun ting ho les at the mar ked po si tions. When using an cho ring studs, use a 6 mm ma son ry
drill to drill the ho les and Put in the dowels.
·
Screw two of the screws into the two top do wels in the wall such that the re is a gap of about 5 mm bet ween
the head of the screw and the wall.
