Trunk group (routing discrimination)
You can on ly use this per for man ce fea tu re when you are using mo re than one ex ter nal port (on ly with POTS mo du -
le). In the de fault set ting, the ex ter nal ISDN port is used first af ter dia ling the li ne ac cess di git. If this port is bu sy, the
ex ter nal ana log port is se lec ted au to ma ti cal ly. In the Con fi gu ra tor you can de fi ne which trunk group is to be used first
when 2 trunk groups ha ve been configured (ISDN and POTS).
Call waiting
Enable / Inhibit Call Waiting for a Further Call
Using the functi on »Call wai ting« you can be cal led by ot her par ties whi le con duc ting an on going call. When a se cond
cal lers calls up you will he ar the call wai ting sig nal in your hand set and can then de ci de whet her you want to con ti nue
your call with the cur rent cal ler, or whet her you want to ta ke the wai ting caller right away.
Call wai ting for ex ter nal calls is pos si ble with ana log te le pho nes. If call wai ting oc curs du ring an on going call with an
ana log pho ne and you igno re the call wai ting sig nal, it will be de-ac ti vat ed af ter around 30 se conds. You can al so dis -
ab le call wai ting with ana log te le pho nes so that no call wai ting sig nals are given during your calls.
