top of the side bars (2), Fig.5.
Connect terminal (39A), sticking out of
the side bar (2), and terminal (39B),
coming out of the handlebar, and then
secure using screws (28) along with
washers (26).
4
Position the left and right base
covers (18) in the direction of the
arrow facing the corresponding side
bar, as shown in Fig.5.
5 FITTING THE MONITOR.-
Fit the brackets (19) onto the back of
the monitor (20), Fig.6, using screws
(45).
Connect terminal (39B), coming out of
the handlebar, to terminal (39C),
coming out of the monitor. Now fit the
monitor onto the handlebar, Fig.7.
Note:
For a better view of the monitor,
it can be rotated on the handlebar,
Fig.7.
EXERTION SETTINGS.-
To provide an even level of exertion
during exercise, this appliance is
equipped with a tensioning control (25),
located on the stem of the main body
(1), Fig.8. This provides various exertion
settings when turned clockwise.
To increase the resistance turn the
tensioning control (25) clockwise (+)
until the exertion level best suits your
exercise requirements.
To reduce the resistance turn the
tensioning control (25) anticlockwise (-
).
FOLDING YOUR UNIT.-
This treadmill is equipped with a
folding
mechanism
for
storage
purposes.
Loosen and withdraw the knob (43)
and lift the base of the device as
shown in Fig.9. Fit the round knob (43)
again and tighten Fig.10.
UNFOLDING YOUR UNIT.-
If you wish to use the unit, do the
reverse procedure and slowly lower
the unit belt down to the fl oor. When
folding or unfolding the unit make sure
that there are no children about or
obstacles that might hin- der the
folding motion.
MOVEMENT & STORAGE.-
The unit is equipped with wheels (16),
Fig.10 to make it easier to move.
If you wish to move the unit, the first
thing to do is to fold it up.
To prevent accidents DO NOT move
the treadmill across uneven floors.
MAINTENANCE.-
Lubricate the inside of the belt in order
to keep your unit in top condition and to
ensure that friction between the belt
and the board Fig.11 is kept to a
minimum (due to different running
styles, always apply more lubrication to
the area where you place your feet
during the exercise).
It is advisable to lubricate the base of
the belt between the board and the
band, depending on how often it is
used.
If the belt starts to slip after lubrication,
then check the tension of the belt. To
tension the belt, take the 5mm Allen
key turn screws (R & L) one turn in a
clockwise direction.
ADJUSTING THE BELT.-
If your unit is not seated evenly on the four
contact points, this may cause the belt (X)
to shift sideways. Rigorous quality control
adjusts and checks the running belt.
