Pull out centring sleeve and drill guide
bushing using the fitting/removing tool
(fig.1.6)

Clean swarf out of the tapped hole again.
Note
: Protective goggles must always be worn!

Set the crankshaft so that the cylinder to
be repaired is at TDC on the working
stroke (Valves closed). Remove the
injector nozzle with tool set and install the
compressed air adapter (Fig.1.7) Prevent
the crankshaft from rotating!

Using thread tap, first coat the tap with oil
(Fig.1.8A) and then cut about 5mm deep
into the glow plug tube which is still in the
cylinder head.
12.
Screw puller pin into the glow plug tube to
a depth of 5mm and attach puller .Open
the valve at compressed air adapter and
turn the hex nut to pull out the glow plug
tube with glow plug. (Fig.1.8)
