1. Note: Before first use. Wipe down heating el-
ement and grill rack with a damp cloth. Towel
or air dry. In addition, when it is first switched
on, the grill may emit a slight smell and a small
amount of smoke may also be noticeable. This
is likely cardboard dust from the packaging and
should dissipate in a minute or two.
2. Make sure the catch pan has been filled with
water. This will cut down on smoke and make the catch pan easier to clean. The water in the
catch pan may evaporate during use. So you
should fill it as it empties. Fill to the min0.3L.
and max0.8L. water level marks. Be careful not
to pour water on the heating element

HOW TO USE YOUR BARBECUE
Caution: Wait for the grill to cool down before
attempting to clean or store
1. Ensure that the grill is thoroughly cleaned
after use.
2. Before cleaning your barbecue, always make
sure that the plug has been disconnected from
the power outlet. Allow the grill to cool down
thoroughly before cleaning.
3. After removing the grill rack and heating ele-
ment assembly, carefully lift the catch pan out and dispose of any remaining water.
4. You can clean the heating element with a
clean, damp cloth. Do not use soap or dish-
washing liquid. Towel or air dry.
5. Clean the grill rack and the catch pan with
warm soapy water and dry afterwards.
6. Don’t use harsh abrasive cleanser or a metal
sponge to clean the grill rack and the grill pan.
7. After cleaning, the grill should be stored in-
doors in a dry location
