SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
“Powered by Robin SUBARU” scarifiers are designed with enough safety measures so as to
prevent being a labour risk or becoming a source of accidents, provided none of safety
measures is eliminated and every guideline is observed.
Before starting the machine, read the operating manual completely.
Otherwise it could result in personal injury or shorten the working life of
the machine.
Do not allow persons under age or those who have not read the manual
or are unfamiliar with its use to operate the machine.
Do not use the machine if tired or sick. Do not operate the machine if
under the effects of medication or alcohol.
Before starting the engine, always check the engine and the machine.
Ensure that every bolt and nut has the adequate torque. This will prevent
potential accidents or damages to the machine.
Before operating the machine, you must familiarize yourself with it so that
you may stop it immediately should a problem arise.
Always inspect the area where you are going to work and remove stones,
branches, plastic and any other object. Remove as well low tree branches
that may be a risk for your eyes.
Do not wear loose garments when scarifying. Always wear non-slip,
safety shoes or boots and long trousers
IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO ELIMINATE OR FASTEN USING ANY
CONTRIVANCE THE SAFETY STOP LEVER THE MACHINE IS EQUIPPED
WITH. This lever is a safety device included in “POWERED BY ROBIN
SUBARU ” scarifiers that causes the blades and the engine to
automatically stop as soon as the grip is released. IF THE OPERATOR
IGNORES THIS, ANY ACCIDENT THAT MAY OCCUR SHALL BE HIS
ENTIRE RESPONSIBILITY.
When refuelling, place the machine in an open space. Leave petrol out of
reach of children.
Do not place flammable objects near the machine, do not smoke or light
anything that may cause sparks as fuel is extremely flammable and may
easily explode. Under no circumstance attempt to check fuel level using
any object that carries a flame such as a lighter, a match or similar.
