3. Device description
3.1 Area of application
For humans, electric current is not immediately visible. Power quality analysers for mon-
itoring electrical parameters are used wherever energy consumption, power demand
measurements or the quality of the supply voltage are to be made visible.
The PEM735 is suitable for monitoring
Power generation systems (PV systems, CHPs, hydro power and wind power
plants)
Energy-intensive equipment and parts of installation
Sensitive equipment

The PEM735 power quality analyser for power quality and energy management is char-

Monitoring of the power quality in accordance with EN 50160
