The drive is maintenance-free.
However, for your own safety and that of others, we recommend that you have
the door system checked and serviced regularly by a competent person in ac-
cordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
21.1. Safety instructions for repair
WARNING
Unintentional gate movements can lead to serious inju-
ries or death!
Unintentional gate movements can be triggered if the gate system is inadver-
tently switched on again by third parties during inspection or maintenance
work. The unintentional gate movements can lead to (serious) personal injury
and damage to property.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR HAZARD AVOIDANCE
Before carrying out any work, disconnect the gate system from the
power supply and secure the gate system against unauthorized restart-
ing.
If possible, have the emergency stop command transmitter ready to
trigger an immediate stop in the event of an unexpected gate move-
ment.
Place operating elements at a sufficient height and/or keep them out of
reach of unauthorized persons.
All cleaning, maintenance and repair work must be carried out by qualified per-
sonnel. To ensure the performance and operational reliability of the system,
the necessary maintenance work must be carried out by qualified personnel at
regular intervals in accordance with the applicable regulations.
In particular, regular inspection of the safety devices must be ensured. For ope-
rators of the gate system, it is recommended to perform a visual inspection of
all safety functions on a monthly basis.
All installation, maintenance and repair work must be documented in writing in
an inspection logbook.

WARNING
Interventions in a defective gate system by unqualified
persons can lead to serious injuries!
Use of a defective gate system can result in serious personal injury and proper-
ty damage.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR HAZARD AVOIDANCE
In case of malfunctions or incorrect operation, the mains plug must be
disconnected immediately.
Repairs may only be carried out by qualified personnel!
Existing faults and / or defects must be repaired immediately and com-
pletely!
An attempt by an unqualified person to repair or otherwise intervene in
a defective gate system can result in serious injury!
Before carrying out any work, disconnect the gate system from the
power supply and secure the gate system against unauthorized
reconnection.
To arrange for an inspection of the gate system or maintenance work, contact
your specialist dealer.

Observe all applicable work safety regulations when dis-
mantling the drive.
The drive should be dismantled by a qualified person. Dis-
posal must be carried out in accordance with the applicable
professional and environmental regulations.
