6.4 Configuration of the LioN-P
PROFINET I/O modules in STEP 7

Select the module in
HW-Config
and open the menu
Edit
>
Object
properties
. In the dialog box that opens, you can then change the device
name.

Check whether the IP address displayed is correct, and the control unit
and module are on the same Ethernet subsystem.
3.
Confirm the entries by pressing "OK".
6.4.2 Assigning a device name to a LioN-P module
An online PROFINET connection between the programming device and the
module is required to assign the device name to a module.
Select the LioN-P module and open the
Target device
>
Ethernet
>
assign
name
dialog.
