Intervals
Under nominal conditions, the electric cylinder components have dif-
ferent operating hours. We have provided you with a list of mainte-
nance work and intervals for the associated components below:
Component Interval Maintenance
Ball screw Monthly Check for running noises
As the volume increases:
Check electric cylinder for increased phase current and
winding temperature
Do not continue to operate electric cylinder
Contact Beckhoff Service
Ball bearing and ball
screw 10 million cycles Check for running noises
As the volume increases:
Check electric cylinder for increased phase current and
winding temperature
Do not continue to operate electric cylinder
Contact Beckhoff Service
Cables Regular intervals Perform visual inspection and check for damage
If required :
Replace cables
5 million bending cycles Replace cables
Power box 500 mating cycles In case of damage:
