4.7.2 MANUAL ADJUSTMENT
Manual adjustment can only be made on equipment without any electro-pneumatic
adjustment controls, in other words on the BMA MANUAL ECO and GRUBBING IN-
TER-ROW WEEDERS; it should be made with the tractor engine switched off, the hand
brake engaged and the pneumatic system disconnected, as described below:
Horizontal boom adjustment: act on the mo-
vement of the piston stop (see FIG. 27);
Transport and working position rotor adjust-
ment: act on the adjustment screw (see FIG.
28).
Length-wise adjustment of the protective
guard: act on the adjustment until you reach
the desired adjustment (see FIG. 30).
For the
BMA GRUBBING INTER-ROW
WEEDER
si procede con:
Length-wise adjustment of the block: act on
the adjustment (two nuts - spanner diam. 24
mm) to the desired adjustment (see FIG.31).
For the
BMA MANUAL ECO INTER-ROW
WEEDER
proceed as follows:
Height adjustment of the protective guard: act
on the adjustment until you reach the desired
height (see FIG. 29);
