12.7 Reverse X
The reverse X feature is a horizontal mirror image feature. When the reverse X feature is enabled,
the pixel values for each line in a captured image will be swapped end-for-end about the line’s cen-
ter. This means that for each line, the value of the first pixel in the line will be swapped with the value
of the last pixel, the value of the second pixel in the line will be swapped with the value of the next-
to-last pixel, and so on.
Figure 83 shows a normal image on the left and an image captured with reverse X enabled on the
right.
Using AOIs with Reverse X
You can use the AOI feature when using the reverse X feature. Note, however, that the position of
an AOI relative to the sensor remains the same regardless of whether or not the reverse X feature
is enabled.
As a consequence, an AOI will display different images depending on whether or not the reverse X
feature is enabled.
