1.4.4 Wipe Sensor Setup
The wipe sensor must be set up as shown below.
The leading edge of the product determines when the wipe sequence starts. This “start wipe point” must be slightly
before the gate. There is a delay in the program that will allow the product to reach the gate before the wipe starts.
The trailing edge of the product determines when the gate closes. This “gate close point” must be slightly after the
gate.
Note: the horizontal distance between the “start wipe point” and the “gate close point” should be minimized. If this
distance is too large, a second product will trigger the start wipe point before the first product clears the gate close
point and a “product-too-long” fault will occur.
