cylinder which assists in
turning the product 90°
Product is guided
to label applicator
Product triggers

Two labels are
dispensed and
wiped onto the
product

wipe-down sensor
and then contacts
stop gate.
Hold down
cylinder extends.
Wipe-down
cylinder extends
wiping the labels
onto the sides of
the product.
Wipe-down
cylinder and
squaring cylinder
retract.
Checker
sensors look for
label presence
Hold-down
cylinder retracts
PASS
Stop gate opens
Product travels
past stop gate and
trailing edge is
detected by wipe-
down sensor
Stop gate closes.
Product travels to
end of conveyor.
Hold-down
cylinder retracts
FAIL
Eject cylinder
extends to end
position and then
retracts
Eject Verif/Bin Full
sensor looks for ejected
product
Failed product is
in reject bin.
System continues
to run.
PASS
Eject Verify error,
conveyor stops.
FAIL
Squaring cylinder
extends.
