Remove the hydraulic hose from the elbow
(IN side) on the gear motor of #1 mower unit.

Use a tee and hydraulic hose between the
removed hose and elbow to install the
pressure gauge for high pressure
measurements.

Make sure that the parking brake is applied,
and then start the engine and rev it up to the
maximum rpm.
Turn the rotary knife rotation switch
(ROTATION) to the "ON" position, make a
pressure measurement and record the
reading. (IN side reading of pressure
measurement)

Remove the pressure gauge for high
pressure measurements from IN side of the
gear motor of #1 mower unit and restore the
original state.
Follow a similar procedure as IN side to
install the pressure gauge for high pressure
measurements between the hydraulic hose
(OUT side) and elbow (OUT side) with a tee
and hydraulic hose.

The relief pressure of the gear motor is
normal if the value obtained by subtracting
OUT side reading of pressure measurement
from IN side reading is as follows.
