3. After a brief time, the direction to which the 12 o'clock posi-
tion of the watch is pointing will appear in the display. Both
as a point of the compass in the top row and an angle in
the middle row.
4. The compass automatically continues displaying the direc-
tion every second for up to 15 seconds.
5. While carrying out a measurement with the compass, the
watch displays a direction indicator, rid bearing (angle) and
four direction indicators which move dynamically when the
watch is moved.
Caution
If direction measurement is carried out in the vicinity of a strong
magnetic field, incorrect results may be the result. Accurate direction
indications in closed rooms are also impossible.
