3. Physical installation of a MiPIX display system
5. Place a ground connection between the pixel block and the support frame. There is a fixation hole, at the rear of the pixel block,
to fasten a wire unit with an eyelid. Use a M3 x 10 bolt.
Warning:
This individual ground connection per pixel block is necessary to comply with the CE and FCC regulations.
Caution:
Using a bolt longer then 10 mm will damage internal parts of the pixel block.
Tip:
Using a support grid with cut out dimensions for easy grounding, as described in MiPIX-20 support grid design guidelines,
page 13, will simplify the grounding of the MiPIX-20 blocks. The pixel block must then be provided with a flat spring. This
flat spring connect the internal grounding of the pixel block with the support grid as soon as the pixel block snaps in.
6. Attach the next pixel block to the support frame as illustrated. Ensure that the pixel block is correctly oriented. (image 3-7)
7. Repeat from step 3 until the hole chain of pixel blocks is installed.
8. Repeat from step 1 until all the chains of the MiPIX display are installed.

Inter-block cable of 10 cm.
To comply with the CE and FCC regulations the maximum length of an inter-block cable may not exceeds 10
cm and the maximum length of a prime-cable may not exceeds 25 cm.
3.4 Physical installation of the MiPIX control unit.
Choose a dustless area to install the control unit . Clean the air entrance of the control unit at a regular time
interval.
The controller must always be installed horizontally. This to prevent parts falling in or out the controller
through the air channel, which can be fatal.
