INTERCONNECTING THE ACTAS UNITS
The ACTAS consists of three units as
explained in the above sections : the
Interface unit, the Control Unit, and the
Sensor unit. All necessary cables to
interconnect them are supplied.

Connecting the Interface
unit to the Control Unit
Use one of the two identical cables
with male-to-female D9-D9 connec-
tors ( Part No.: R3482602) :

Insert the connector at one end
to the port marked as 'TO CON-
TROL UNIT' located on the front
panel of the Interface unit;
u
Insert the connector at the other
end into the port marked as 'TO
INTERFACE' located on the bot-
tom end of the Control Unit.

Connecting the Control Unit
to the Sensor unit
Use the supplied cable with male-
to-male DIN Mini 8 connectors (Part
No.: Z3420076) :
u
Insert the connector at one end
to the port marked as 'TO SEN-
SOR' located on the front end of
the Control Unit;
u
Insert the connector at the other
end into the port marked as 'TO
CONTROL UNIT' located on the
Sensor unit.
After completing the above procedure, the three units are correctly interconnected. The ACTAS system is
ready for use.
