SELECT / LEARN CONFIGURATION
COMMAND MENU
The 'Select / learn config' command menu allows you to
select a configuration block and to start up the projector
to learn the configuration.
Press the
<ENTER>
key to access the 'Select config'
menu.
Selecting a configuration memory block
There are 2 sets of 20 independent non-volatile memory
blocks in the Control Unit to store the 'Configuration' and
'Setup' settings.
The configuration memory blocks have an identical
structure and are numbered from 0 to 19. They are used
to store the result of the configuration learnt by the
ACTAS. When using the ACTAS for the first time, there
is no information stored in the blocks.
Follow the steps below to select a configuration block :

' key to access the higher or
lower number configuration block;

Press the
<ENTER>
key to save the change: a
message will be displayed to report the saving pro-
cess;
Or press the
<EXIT>
key to return without changes:
a message will be displayed to report the reverting
process.
Learn configuration command
Before using this function, please make sure that the
projector operates at a baud rate of 9600, and has an
address not equal to 253 and 254. The projector to be
adjusted must be either in operation or in pause.
In case of a wall system, all projectors in the RS232
chain must operate at a baud rate of 9600, and have
unique addresses. If a host computer is connected and
generates the test pictures on request of the ACTAS
Control Unit, the address 252 must not be used as well,
in addition to the 253 and 254 addresses.
In the 'Select config' command menu, press the
<AD-
JUST>
to start up the scanning process.
The Control Unit will scan the connected projectors and
retain their addresses. Pressing the
<EXIT>
key will stop
the process. The result of the scanning will be stored in
the configuration block as displayed (e.g.nr 7).
An end message will be displayed to report the termina-
tion of the process and number of projectors in the
configuration will be shown.
Press the
<ENTER>
key to repeat.
Press the
<EXIT>
key to return.
