Software update
It is very important that the product is updated to the latest software version
before it is returned to the customer. This is to ensure the customer receives the
best possible experience. Software can be updated via the ServiceTool, the internet
or the Bang & Olufsen App.
While the software is being updated, the Product indicator and the Network/
Bluetooth indicator at the of the product, will lit red, pulsing repeatedly. The
update takes a while depending on the Internet connection. Do not disconnect
the product from the mains or the network while software is being updated.
Approach
Connect a service PC with ServiceTool to the same router as the Beoplay A9 is
connected to.

Run ServiceTool.

Be sure that ServiceTool is updated to the latest version. If not, upgrade and restart
ServiceTool.

Scroll down to BeoSound section.
- Select
Beoplay A9

and click
Launch
.

Click on the
PRODUCT
tab (if not already shown).
- Click
+
next to each item to expand the menus.
- Click
Software -> Software update.

Follow the procedure in ServiceTool.
