Setting a fixed volume
You can choose whether all calls should
start at the same volume. The volume can
be adjusted in eight steps, where 1 is the
lowest volume and 8 is the highest. Even if
you set a fixed volume, you can still adjust
the volume using the wheel during a call.
Extended Redial
BeoCom 3 is pre-set to store calls from
other phones connected to the same ISDN
connection in its Redial list. If you do not
want this registration, you should turn off
Extended Redial.
Turn flashing indicator lights off
The indicator lights flash when a call from
a new Caller ID is received, when
activating various ISDN services and when
the ringer signal is disconnected. If you
choose to disconnect the flashing of the
indicator lights, you will still be informed
of the status and news via the display.
