Edit the number
If you enter the phone number before you
lift the handset, you can edit the number
before you dial.
Adjust the volume
During a call, you can adjust the volume in
eight steps, where 1 is the lowest volume
and 8 is the highest.
The display indicates whether you are turning
the volume up or down.
A new call will start at the volume you last
used. If you want all calls to start at the same
volume, you should set a fixed volume, see
page 25.
Turn the microphone on or off
If you do not wish the person on the
phone to overhear a conversation you are
having with a person in the room, you can
switch off the microphone.
If the microphone has been turned off, you will
hear a sound signal in the handset or in the
speaker.
