DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION WITH LIQUID
FUEL
The burner operates fully automatically: it is activated by switching on
the main switch and the control panel switch.
Burner operation is managed by command and control electronic de
-
vices.
The “lock-out” position is a safety position that the burner automatically
assumes when a safety-related fault occurs.
Make sure that there are no faults in the heating plant before re-activa
-
ting the burner by 'resetting it'.
The burner may stay in the lock position, with flashing red light, without
any time limits.
Press the button INVIO (1) to resume the burner operation.
Lock-outs may also be caused by temporary faults; in these cases if it
is reset, the burner will start up without any difficulties.
If lockings continue to occur (3-4 times), do not continue with the ope
-
ration and, after having checked that the fuel arrives to the burner, ask
the intervention of the after-sales service in your area.
The burner is fitted with an electronic cam controlled by a microproces
-
sor for intermittent operation.
The electronic modulation is performed by two servomotors that regu
-
late combustion air and liquid fuel controlled by the equipment.
The modulating operation allows the transition from the first stage (mi
-
nimum output) to the second stage (maximum output) and vice versa.
It is progressive in terms of both amount of combustion air let in and
amount of output fuel, continuously adjusting to the specific system
requirements.
If the temperature or pressure probe is set to a temperature or pressu
-
re higher than that in the boiler, the adjustment servomotor is enabled,
gradually increasing the fuel and combustion air output up to the maxi
-
mum level the burner is set to.
The burner remains in maximum supply position until the temperature
or pressure modulation probe reaches the value set for the boiler.
Now the modulation servomotor starts gradually reducing fuel and
combustion air supply until the minimum value.
If, even with minimum supply the temperature or pressure (in case of
steam boiler) of modulation probe intervention, the burner stops.
When the temperature or pressure in the boiler decreases, the modula
-
tion probe detects a variation in boiler load and automatically requests
the fuel and combustion air supply regulation to the servomotor.
With this procedure the burner changes the fuel and combustion air
supply according to the amount of heat required by the boiler.

CAUTION / WARNINGS
The electronic cam regulates the burner power, through the two
servomotors, according to a working curve with ten points set by
the manufacturer.
