1.8.1 System Requirements
1.8.1.1 Host System
The mvBlueNAOS is a high-performance camera which requires a high data throughput on the host system, for
example, when processing large amount of image data and high CPU resources if processing color images on the
host PC.
For this reason we recommend the following components:
Component Recommendation
RAM 8 GB in 64-bit OS
Mainboard Latest PC architecture and chipset
PCIe x4 slot, preferably if available the x16 graphic card slot
1.8.1.2 Supported Operating Systems
The following operating system are supported officially:
1.8.1.2.1 Windows
• Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
• Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)
• Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
• Microsoft Windows 11
Other Windows versions might work as well but will not be tested on a regular basis.
Note
Since mvIMPACT Acquire version 2.8.0 it could be possible that you have to update your Windows
installer at least using Windows XP. The necessary packages are available from Microsoft's website:
