Defined ground!
The sensor and the control cabinet must be on
the same ground potential.
Route all cables between sensor, controller and power
supply so that they are not under tension. In order to avoid
electromagnetic interference, ensure sufficient distance to
cables carrying a heavy current and cables with high-
frequency voltage signals (e.g. of frequency converters).
Bending radius for fixed cable
The bending radius for fixed cable routing must be at least
12 mm.
Cable length
The maximum length of the cable to the IO-Link master is
20 m.
Longer cables can also be used for the analog output,
provided that the design, shielding and routing ensure that
external interference is prevented.
