ASSEMBLY AND SET UP
Mount Drill Chuck And Arbor
1. Be sure spindle taper, arbor taper and chuck taper are clean and dry.
2. Insert arbor into spindle, push arbor into spindle and twist arbor slightly to release air trapped
in taper.
3. Mount chuck onto arbor, push chuck over arbor and twist chuck slightly to release air
trapped in taper.
4. Be sure chuck and arbor are securely mounted.
Coolant Pump and Tank
1. Unwrap the coolant pump and place the tank assembly on the floor (typically at the back of
the base) or on the base of the drill press.
2. Connect the drain hose to the bottom corner of the work table.
3. Route the cord and the hoses from the work table to the tank.
a. Route the power cord and hoses so that they will NOT become entangled in the
machine in any way.
b. Route the power cord and hoses in a way that does NOT create a trip hazard.
4. Fill the tank with the desired coolant to be used.
WARNING:
For your own safety, DO NOT connect the machine to the
power source until the machine is completely assembled and you read and
understand the entire instruction manual.
