BEGIN
Measure and mark the floor at 96-3/4" from the corner
(Fig. A)

Fasten
GAA
at mark with (2) 3" screws.
Place (2) sub-assembled trusses with red ends touching at peak
(Fig. A)
.
Place gusset with 1/4" offset on top of trusses
(Fig. B)
.
Secure gusset to trusses with (12) 2" nails in pattern shown
(Fig. B)
. Hold trusses tight at peak when nailing.
Install one gusset on
TWO
rafters.

With
FIVE
of the rafters, flip rafters over and attach a
SECOND
gusset
(Fig. D)

Make a jig so trusses will all have the same measurement using the shed floor and
3/4" gauge block
