Adjust the base until
the entire blue marker
is completely visible
between the two lines
while on the vehicle seat.
Check and adjust the base
if necessary.
Place the base on vehicle
seat in a seating position
where a child restraint
anchor fitting is installed.
The Level Indicator shows when your child seat is installed at the
correct angle for your vehicle. It gives you confidence the child
seat is positioned correctly whenever you travel.

Pull up and hold the
release lever on the back
of the capsule. Lift the
capsule up from the base
using the carry handle.
If your car’s seat is
contoured then you may
need to adjust the angle
of the base so your baby is
not too upright.
Do not have the base too
far away from the vehicle
seat.
Some vehicle seats have more slope than others. If the
correct Base Angle cannot be achieved using the Recline
Adjustment Foot (Figure A), it may be necessary to
adjust the angle by placing a firm packing between the
underside of the base and the vehicle seat (with recline
foot stored).
Packing can be a firmly rolled towel.
If packing placement is needed similar to Figure B, ensure
the packing cannot become dislodged.
Always ensure any packing is trapped and cannot
become dislodged during normal use.
Always check that the level indicator confirms the correct
installation angle.
