Demineralization Cartridge
• Your humidifier is not designed for use with water that has passed through a water
softener which uses a salt. The humidifier’s de-calcification cartridge cannot absorb the
salt, which results in a white precipitate forming inside the appliance. If a white precipitate
should form anyway, the capacity of the de-calcification cartridge has been exhausted.
This can occur sooner or later depending on the hardness of the water. In this case, please
replace the de-calcification cartridge.

Soak the de-calcification cartridge in a water bath for 1 hour before the first use; the
granules have to absorb water to attain high performance.

• Place the product on a flat surface or desktop and pull off the nozzle in a vertical direction,
figure1.
• Lift off the water tank, figure 2, turn the tank over and loosen the tank cover by turning in
an anticlockwise direction, figure 3. Fill the water tank with distilled water only, figure 4.
• Replace the tank cover by turning in a clockwise direction, figure 5; you need to check that
the purple seal ring is in the internal slot.
• Put the water tank vertically down into the groove located in the base, figure 6. When you
hear the gurgle, it means water is flowing into the water tray. Remark: If you don’t hear the
gurgle, please lift the water tank and place it on the base unit slowly several times until
you hear the gurgle.
• Connect the nozzle of choice to the water tank, figure 7; when connecting the nozzle,
please check the positioning slot.
