TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Action
The burner does not light immediately
Check that the gas valves are open.
Check that there is a spark from the lighter.
Keep the knob pressed in for about 5 seconds before
turning it to light the burner.
Check that the burner is clean.
Noise from the regulator.
The ventilation hose on the regulator could be blocked, or
the regulator could be defective.
Check that the ventilation opening on the regulator is not
blocked. Clear the hole, close the gas valve and the valve
on the gas cylinder, wait 10 minutes and try again.
Do not cover the ventilation hole on the regulator when
opening the valve on the gas cylinder.
Check that the flames are burning properly. If not, replace
the regulator.
The product only reaches about 90 to
150°C
Check that the temperature sensor and temperature
indicator are working properly by holding a flame against
the sensor, or by checking the temperature in the grill with
an oven thermometer.
Make sure to follow the instructions. All the knobs should
be in the • position before lighting. The valve on the gas
cylinder should be closed. If not, close the valve and wait
for 15 minutes. Open the valve on the gas cylinder
completely. Turn the knob for the left burner to and wait
5 seconds for it to light. Repeat for the other burners.
Check all gas connections for leaks with a soap solution.
Replace or tighten leaking parts and connections.
Preheating goes slowly
Preheating to 500–600°C normally takes 10 to 15
minutes. Wind and low ambient temperatures can make it
take longer.
The burner flames are not pale blue.
The flames are getting too much, or too little air.
This could be because of the height above sea level, but
low temperatures can also affect the mixing ratio. The
burners may need adjusting. Contact your dealer.
The product has been placed where it is exposed to the
wind. Set the knobs for all burners to the • position, close
the valve on the gas cylinder and move the product to a
more sheltered place.
