OPERATION
INSTALLATION
Choosing a place
The product is intended for outdoor use and should be placed in a well-ventilated area. Never put the
product under flammable objects, for example under a carport. The minimum distance sideways to
flammable objects is 1 m. Keep the product at a safe distance from flammable objects.
Safety precautions during installation
WARNING:
Do not cover the ventilation openings on the product.
Place the gas cylinder on a level surface beside the product, at a safe distance from the product
and other sources of heat. Before changing the gas cylinder, check that the product is extinguished
and that there are no other sources of heat (such as flames, sparks, cigarettes or the like) in the
vicinity. Check that the gas hose is not creased, twisted or under strain. The hose should hang
straight, without any kinks etc. that can obstruct the air flow.
No part of the hose, except for the connection, should touch the hot parts of the product.
Only use hoses approved for LPG, and which comply with local regulations.
The hose should not be longer than 1.5 m.
Connecting the gas hose
Check that all the control knobs are switched off (•). Connect the gas hose to the gas inlet on the right
shelf (18). Do not overtighten. Do not use sealing fluid or sealing tape on the connection.
Fitting the regulator on the gas cylinder
Check that all the control knobs are switched off (•). Connect the regulator to the gas cylinder in
accordance with the instructions for the regulator and gas cylinder.
Checking for leaks
WARNING:
Only check for leaks in a well-ventilated area.
WARNING:
NEVER check for leaks with a naked flame.
Step 1
Check that all the control knobs are switched off (•).
Step 2
Open the gas valve on the gas cylinder or regulator.
Step 3
Check all the gas connections in the system, including all valve connections, hose connections and
regulator connections, by applying a soap solution (equal parts of water and soap) on them.
Step 4
Any leakage will result in the formation of bubbles. Close the gas valve and tighten the leaking
connection. Recheck for leakage. If bubbles form again, close the gas valve and contact your dealer.
Check for leaks once a year and every time the gas cylinder is removed or replaced.
