Use
WARNING:
Read these instructions carefully before assembly and use.
Preparation
To prevent food sticking to the grill rack, apply a little cooking oil on it before grilling.
NOTE: The first time you use the grill the colour may change slightly. This is normal.
Lighting
Before lighting
Check the gas hose before opening the gas valve. Replace the hose immediately if it shows signs of wear
or damage. Do not use the grill if you can smell gas.
A suitable regulator and gas hose can be obtained from your dealer. Only use spare parts recommended
by the manufacturer.
Screw the regulator on the gas cylinder and connect the gas hose to the gas inlet on the right shelf.
Check the hose and regulator connections for leaks in accordance with the instructions before use.
Step 1
Open or remove the cover.
Step 2
Check that all the control knobs are switched off (•).
Step 3
Open the gas valve on the gas cylinder or regulator.
Step 4
Check that all the knobs are in the • position, and open the gas supply from the gas cylinder.
Step 5
The lighter is built into the valve. Light each burner by pressing the respective knob and turning to . A
click will be heard when the spark tries to light the pilot flame. If the burner does not light within 5
seconds, turn all the control knobs to the • position. Wait 5 minutes so that the gas disperses, and try
again.
WARNING:
Keep your face and body as far away from the burner as possible when lighting.
