To set up access restrictions for the StorPoint CD files and folders,
specify the
SMBUser/Group
parameter in the appropriate access files.
You can assign access rights to users individually or by group
membership. You can add as many
SMBUser/Group
entries as
required.
The
SMBUser/Group
parameter uses this syntax:
where
<user>
is the User ID or group name, and <
directory
rights>
and <
file rights>
are the access flags that define the
access rights to the directories and files, respectively.
This table lists the access flags:

Grant read/write access to all users in the group ‘salesdep’:

You can use an asterisk (*) to indicate that the access rights for a
specific directory or file should be the same as for the directory at
the level above. This simplifies management.
