NOTE:
DS3 will indicate that the 10 MHz is unlocked when there is no external 10 MHz
present. This is normal, with no external reference present, because the PLL cannot
function and is disconnected from the internal 10 MHz oscillator.
When the external 10 MHz is not used, R119 sets the frequency of the 10 MHz. The
easiest way to adjust this frequency while the transmitter is on the air is to measure one
of the two LO frequencies with a counter and adjust R119 until the LO is on frequency.
When the external 10 MHz is present, R119 is disconnected from the circuit and has no
effect on the internal oscillator's frequency.
There are two LO samples on the board. J1 is the LO sample and J9 is the LO2 Sample.
To Calculate the frequencies of each, use the following formulas:
LO1 = 1044 MHz - IF Frequency
LO2 = Channel Center Fre 1044 MHz.
For example, for an Analog transmitter operating with System M/N, the IF center
Frequency is 44 MHz, therefore LO1 = 1GHz. If the transmitter is operating on channel
14 at a center frequency of 473 MHz, LO2 = 1044 + 473 = 1517 MHz.
The Channel Center Frequency and IF Frequency on which the transmitter is operating,
are displayed on the front panel LCD Display under the Upconverter Sub-menu of the
Device Details menu.

(A5) ALC Board, Innovator CX Series (1308570)
The ALC Board, Innovator CX Series, is used to control the RF drive power to the RF
amplifier chain in the CU10, CU60, CU100 and CU200 systems. The board accepts a RF
input signal at a nominal input level of -3 dBm average power and amplifies it to
whatever drive level is necessary to drive the final RF amplifier in the Drawer to full
power. The input signal to the board at J1 is split by U4, with one half of the signal
driving a PIN diode attenuator, DS1 and DS2, and the other half driving a detector, U13,
