These screens set up the System as Manual switching to Analog or Digital
operation or Jumper switching to Analog or Digital operation. The operator
selects which method will be used for the switching from the above setup
screens or from the Web interface. The decision on which method, manual
or jumper, to use for mode selection generally is determined by the remote
control method used with the transmitter. Note that it is not possible to
have both the Web interface, manual, and the contact closure, jumper,
method used simultaneously.
The transmitter is typically setup so that it can be switched from the front
panel or from the Web interface, Manual.
Screen 1
indicates Manual
method selecting Digital operation or
Screen 2
indicates Manual method
selecting Analog operation.
If the transmitter uses a remote control unit with discrete parallel logic level
connections, the transmitter could use the contact closure method.
Screen
3
indicates the transmitter is set by jumper method so that Pin 6 of J12, the
remote interface jack located on the rear panel, is high and the transmitter
is set to the digital mode.
Screen 4
indicates the transmitter is set up so
that Pin 6 of J12 is connected to ground and the transmitter is set to the
analog mode.
